LG15: The Last - The Finale!
Hi Everyone! Thank you for your patience as “LG15: The Last” has gone on a short hiatus. The cast and crew are busy filming videos for a spectacular finale that will air at the end of June. In the meantime, start working on your pilots for “LG15: The Show Is Yours” Season 2. We will begin taking submissions very soon. Stay tuned to Inside LG15 for more details.

hold on… so this finale, is it going to pick up were it left off or will it be the same date as we are now? maybe they are testing the waters for the resistance creators to see if we will go with the picking up were we left off in the story line? lol. but yeah thanks for the info, thats great!!! End of June. That is so long. I just have to ask. Why bother?
Don’t get me wrong, I want to see a proper ending. But there are so few people on the boards now. There’s Bronze Golem, AnneBoleyn, CausePsaid, PJ, Aeth, FH14 and a few others including myself. By the end of June, how many people will be watching? Is it worth making a finale for about 10 viewers.
If we knew for sure that we would get something at the end of June… I got to say, we’ve been given no explanation, no communication on the boards from the Createroos or the creators. Can we really trust that at the end of June a finale will be forethcoming?

Honestly, I couldn’t really care less about The Show Is Yours. No offence to the creators of The Last, but yeah. I miss the REAL LG15, and EQAL’s just abandoned it. They said that it’s because of money, but money never stopped them from doing lonelygirl15 when they were first starting out. I guess they don’t realize that most of us don’t CARE about big budgets and fancy editing, etc. If we wanted that we’d turn on the TV. It’s funny how they probably spent sooo much more money on the Resistance than lonelygirl15, but lonelygirl15 was way more popular.

I basically agree with most of what Nick said. I know I should be more open-minded towards TSIY, but I just can’t bring myself to care. At the risk of sounding totally fangirly, I WANT MY JONAS BACK. D:
Dude, the characters have been hanging in limbo, considering LG15 has always run in real time. MAGGIE AND JONAS ARE SUSPENDED IN SOME PLACE BEING HELD BY THE ORDER IN LIMBO, AND I AM DYING HERE! AND BEAST WITH REED! I NEED THIS! I was only into the fandom for like two months before the Resistance season finale. I’ve had so little time to enjoy it as it’s on. T_T

I agree wtih Nick and EarthAngel4545 100percent. i miss the original LG cast and story line. honestly i havent been watching the last and unless a previous character from LG that i liked was on the next the show is yours i wouldnt watch it either….

No offense to anybody, but I 100% completely agree with Nick. I have lost all interest in LG15 ever since, “The Show Is Yours” was started. Before, I would come to LG15 on a daily basis, if not more than once a day to check for updates. As for now, the last time I visited this site was a few weeks after the season finale and saw TSIY: The Last trailer. I dont even BELIEVE my eyes when I try to comprehend that EQAL came up with a 10 week way to go on a break. I think its completely ridiculous and absolutely inconsiderate to leave every fan they once had in the dust.
EQAL, dont get me wrong. I love you guys and enjoyed both of your LG15 series, but this is just insane and completely annoying. I have been so disinterested in the TSIY Piloting programs it’s not even funny. For a season 2 of this to come out is just going to ruin my next couple months and completely tarnish the remaining respect I have for this show. I mean, you guys [EQAL] did not even legitimately let us know why you guys are going on break, and if you guys are even coming back. This is complete bull for a fan who was there from the beginning.
The biggest possible mistake you guys made was probably the creation of this website. It’s horrible. The other one was simple, unique, and actually looked like something young adults would use to upload their daily events onto. As a last hope, this is all I needed to say, and hope you guys will read this. I can guarantee the majority of people reading this would agree with me. The TSIY was an excuse to take a break to find a bigger route for the show. Unnecessary. You all are losing fan-base. Thats how this show got popular. Everything you guys worked up to is slowly diminishing.
I honestly hope to see a change,
or at least an update for gosh sake.
I know and understand it was never your intentions to keep us hanging like this, but updates can never hurt, and as dedicated fans, I think we at least deserve the right to know what the hell has been going on for the past 10 weeks, and when we can expect to see the ACTUAL SERIES continue!
I needed to vent. I apologize for some of the harsh things I may have said, but these are topics that have been on my mind for a WHILE. You guys at EQAL are great, and this is why so many people became interested in your show. But right now, this, “TSIY”, is just ridiculous.

-Pissed it took so long for them to tell us what was going on
-Happy they got it together so they can wrap it up with the great ending “The Last” Deserves
The Show is yours was necessary as Equal seems to have all it’s resources targeting Hapers Globe right now.
This is a good thing as it means they will have money to continue pet projects that make little or no money like the LG15 story line if they so choose.
This series was good and I am sure they will put a great ending to it.
I think that if we didn’t have TSIY we would have had a complete ending of the LG15 platform.
Thank you Creataroos for stepping in and filling a void for us.
A little more communication is definitely necessary with your fan base if you hope to keep them.
This isn’t an assignment you hand in for grading. It’s a project you stay with until it is complete.

The hilarity of all these “I don’t care for TSIY, I want the real thing back!” comments is that they don’t realize that The Last feels more like LG15 than LG15 has in two seasons…
But hey, I guess “shirtless plot hole of the week” makes for a good show as well. *shrugs*

Speaking as a person who’s been in this from the beginning, I can honestly say that I will probably just keep checking the site every once and a while for the next few months to see if The Resistance has come back. If not, I’ll probably just leave. I really used to love this community and the show and all of the people that helped out with it… but for one reason or another the whole tone of things has changed and we the fans are left waiting CONSTANTLY. Now that I think about it, it’s been almost 6 MONTHS since the last real LG15 update and now we need to wait another month for The Last… I’m going to have to agree with the half a dozen other people that have said that this isn’t worth it.
I give huge props to The Last and I understand that the creators of LG15 have wanted some personal time… that’s all completely understandable. But there all other ways to keep people involved in the LG15 community without making videos… we don’t need fancy editing… we just want our storyline back, our characters… and we’ve patiently waited for months only to be disappointed by more waiting.
I’m sorry everyone, I’ll be so sad to leave. I just feel that as a member that has stuck around for so long I should also express my opinion.
I hope this won’t be the letdown that I expect it will be.

I will say that I agree with the majority of the replies here about the whole ‘Resistance season 2′ kinda up in the air. I don’t think you guys (EQAL) Should be bothered by us like this, but I’m gonna say I do agree with ‘R’, an update about it would be nice. I guess not knowing if it will even ever go on is torture, but I’m assuming that you guys are only working on Harpers globe and TSIY, and not really thinking about the resistance at all considering the funding/economic crisis you are in. Which is understandable and you’ll never see me complain about something that’s beyond your control, but isn’t there maybe a way of telling us if you are really even working on it or maybe thinking about it, or if the funding problems get better that you’d start to work on it? I don’t know a whole lot about the issues going on but if you guys truly just make an update with all the questions and stuff and a little more information if you’ve got any, I think people wouldn’t be upset, and maybe they would feel heard? It’s up to you all, but I think The Last is pretty good, I guess everyones upset because it’s not your guys stuff, and we’ve gotten attached to the characters, but I’ll never stop coming here for updates and to rewatch the entire series like I’ve done 3 times already…lol.

I agree with everyone… I can’t stand all this waiting around hoping The Resistance comes back stuff… and The Resistance wasn’t even that good in comparison to lonelygirl or katemodern. I miss all the good old interactive stuff, solving puzzles… videos almost everyday…
The show was much better when money wasn’t an issue I would have been perfectly happy if lonelygirl didn’t end and all the original characters continued their story.
All these new faces and strange plots that make no sense are really starting to bug me… and its not even reliable… we were actually left hanging for about two weeks, no updates no nothing… not counting the Twitter post that I didn’t even see until a few days ago..

Money was never any big thing, but things change, actors and actresses get other jobs they get paid for, so their time begins to cost money. I mean have you forgotten why Bree was killed off? Jessica had other higher paying jobs to do! If EQAL could have afforded to keep her on, surely they would have! I’m sure you also have actors that wanted to move on.
The problem in cash flow was created in part by the change in channel, therefore less clicks, and less youtube money! If they do ever continue on, they should go back to the higher subscribed lonelygirl15 account. I also agree with the person who said they didn’t like the change in websites.
Personally I want them to get back in and end it, its just not possible realistically to keep it going on forever.
AND now to go on topic!
The Last is alright but it really only helped to accelerate the dying off of the LG name. Its arguable that they could have done just as well or better without having the name attached to the series.
The hiatus sucks, but I’m glad to hear it will have an ending, as I’ve kept up watching, I’m not hating on the show, more like what has become of the former top youtube show.

I completely agree with everyone saying they want the real LG15 back.
I dunno if it’s just me, but i really don’t like The Last. The acting is really poor & the storyline is… silly. I don’t see how you people can say ‘it’s felt more like LG15′ … at least they could act better! I mean, the only reason i watched it was because it was a part of all the LG15 stuff.
I’m glad it’s having an ending, i guess it deserves that.
Right now i’m just really p’ed off with all this. If they have been filming all this time, someone, somewhere, could of come on a computer for all of 5mins & said ‘hey, sorry about this - blahblahblah. we’ll be back soon!’ srsly, is that so hard?
I feel this is the end of me & LG15. I hate the fact they’ve left the resistance ending like that…
I guess i’ve just lost faith.

For the record, while I’m here: there are still new fans coming in, and fans who love the Resistance and don’t think it pales in comparison to earlier LG15 stuff. *waves* I got into LG15 around Halloween, because I was intrigued by all the places I was seeing Jessica Rose’s face - she kept popping up on my MSN because of Sorority Forever, and I knew I’d seen her on Greek, so then I looked her up and I think it just inspired me to start looking at LG15. Random kids sitting at their computers with time on their hands stumble upon things they didn’t expect to find and get hooked on them all the time, and it happened to me. While I’ve watched much of the original longelygirl15 and I love it, I also love the Resistance, which was on as I came into the fandom, and I don’t think it’s inferior. For me, it’s just as exciting as the rest of it.
I’ve never watched KateModern, and I haven’t tried watching The Last. I’m a newb of a fan, but I’m INTO lonelygirl15 and the Resistance. And I don’t pick the characters and stories I fall in love with, they pick me. It would fill me with giddy delight to have Jonas back on my computer screen every day again, but until then, I suppose I can try to watch the original lonelygirl15 in its entirety, once I get a new computer that can actually handle that much Youtube.
By the way, no idea when the baby is/was due, but I hope all is well on that front! If that’s a factor in all of this, then I understand completely. As everybody else has said, I would just really love an explanation; the total lack of answers to our questions about the Resistance is what’s sucked the most.

Err, the point I lost in all that was that new fans ARE still coming in, and will continue to, so the only reason you have to worry about the fanbase is that those of us who are already here are currently in the dark regarding the Resistance. But fans will continue to appear as long as this stuff is still going on.

Well, I am watching the Last. It is getting more exciting. The Last is way better now than it was at the beginning of the season. Maybe for the show is yours (season 2) someone could bring TR (The Resistance) and TL (The Last) together to form a really good season. Like, one of the trait positive girls from TL would be captured, then taken to the same place as Jonas and Maggie. Then the rest of TL comes and rescues them all– but not without the help of Daniel and Reed. On the run, Maggie finds she is pregnant, via Jonas. Her baby is trait positive. They need to find somewhere safe, fast, because The Order is catching up to them.

I liked The Last. Yeah its frustrating that the real-time LG15 series is a bit interrupted due to the fan-created spin-off, but The Resistance apparently cost money and its hard to continue the series without the major cast. The Last is a nice break.

Hey guys,
I’m Cat, the girl who plays Chas in LG15 The Last.
I’ve read everything you have said and yes it was unfair for us to not tell you what was going on but let me tell you that what was going on from our end was a lot worse. There have been big issues that arose from working as a team, some that are unfixable. I can’t go into too much detail but please I’d like you all to appreciate the effort we have made in creating this. It does take a lot of time to create all these episodes and we are all only young uni students who don’t have all the time in the world to create this. We decided to put all our differences aside in order to give you guys the final that you deserve. We care deeply about you all and appreciate the support you have given us. I know we aren’t exactly EQAL but we have tried our best and we hope that it hasn’t been too bad for you guys watching our creation. All of you mean so much to us. We promise you a spectacular ending and hope that you can put up with us for one more episode. Good luck to you all in the next TSIY and we will see you all very soon. Lots of love
