The end is near

From left to right: Kevin, Amanda, Marcello, Alexandra, Yousef, Melanie, and Jackson

The lonelygirl15 production, unlike television or film, is not a big set with a group of people under the lights and another behind a camera. It’s actually a joint effort where the camerman, director, and producer get into the scene with the actors. Working in such close proximity the environment on set is much more like a family than a business. I could not have asked for a better group to work with. You are an amazingly talented group and I feel honored to have worked with you and call each of you my friend.

Reminder: The finale will begin at 8:00 AM on 08.01.08, but I’d get here early because there might be a few surprises.

- Amanda

I think I’ll just stay up all night the night before! This is so exiting.

I would just like to say a big Thank You to all the people involved in Lonelygirl 15 for making a wonderful show and creating an environment where I have met some of the nicest, funniest and most caring people in the world and with out everyone at Lonelygirl 15 I would not have met them. The people I met through this site were there for me in the most painful time in my life and without them I wouldn’t be who I am right now. This site is definitely more than just a show it IS a family, no other show connects people the way this show does and for that I am thankful. I don’t want to start repeating myself to much so I’ll stop my love rant. Thank you again! ♥ Nikki

Thank you all so much for everything you’ve done. Right at the top of the list, is introducing me to the family I did not know I had. My LG15 family. You all are my brothers and sisters. I love each of you very much.

It has been a long journey - about two years - and no show or movie I have watched has affected me the way that Lonelygirl15 has. I have been watching the show since I was first getting into Youtube. I was exploring the site and wanted to know which channels were getting the most views at that time. Up there on the list was Lonelygirl15. First, I saw a video of Daniel, talking about his problems with some girl named Bree. Then, I decided to see who this “Bree” was. I was immediately mesmerized by her. She had such charisma, such intellect, such a strong presence on-screen. I was hooked. From that day forward, I watched whenever a video was posted, and I constantly checked back to see if anything new had happened. When the LG15 website really kicked off, I was there too. I lurked a lot of the time, but I also took part in many of the activities and puzzles you’ve given us.
Over time, I have fallen in love with the characters of the Breeniverse, and have found myself even yelling at the screen at times when I know they’ve made a bad decision. Nothing compares to what you’ve created here. As far as internet content goes, it is in a league of its own. Lonelygirl15 has explored what television would be like if the fans were involved in where the storyline was headed. That’s a pretty amazing thing.
Thank you for all that you have done for us. We have given you a hard time over certain things, we may have even hurt your feelings with our negative reactions sometimes, but overall… and I’m sure I’m speaking for just about everyone… we really appreciate it all, and we love you guys a lot. I wish you the very best of luck in all that you do, and I’m sure the new series will be a great success.
Best of wishes, you guys. I absolutely love you. :)

Such a beautiful and talented group, you are.
Jessica, if you are reading this, I just want you to know how much we all love and appreciate you here. You are the reason this became what it is, and without you, Lonelygirl15 would cease to exist. Thank you for being our *Bree*.
Yousef, you are amazingly talented, and have stolen my LG heart. You have made the character of Daniel what it is, and you have been the “glue” in the LG family. Without you sticking around, a lot of us would have probably left. Like Jessica, you are a staple of the series, and the series just wouldn’t be the same without you. Thank you for being part of the LG family!
Jackson, oh-so-beautiful Jackson… though it is not the basis of why we love you, you are the eye candy of LG15. In addition to that, you are a very talented young man with so much potential for bigger and better things. Jonas has been a character very frustrating to watch at times, but that is exactly why I love the character so much. Jonas is not perfect.. he is confused and heartbroken and very angry with his world… and you’ve portrayed that flawlessly. Jackson, you are a gem. Thank you for being here on this journey!
Lexi, you are the sex symbol of LG15 and I adore you for it. You have brought fun and frisk during the darkest of times. You did a fantastic job as Sarah, and have really shown all of her many personalities. Without this character around, the show would be a little bit flat (no pun intended) and things would be a lot less entertaining, in my opinion. In a very serious situation, which is commonplace here, you bring some light to the room. Thank you for being here with us!
Becki, you are a very talented young woman with a lot ahead of you. Your interpretation of Taylor was great, and you’re the reason I like the character so much. After Bree’s death, we needed a new brainiac to solve all of the puzzles, and you gave us just that. Your chemistry with Max was so genuine (obviously… maxterbexter!!!) and it really showed. You are on your way, sweetie. Keep up the good work! Thanks for everything!
Melanie, you’ve been with us for quite some time now, and though a lot of us resisted at first… I, for one, adore you now. You’ve made Jennie such a powerful character. She is strong-willed, but deep down she is weak, and you’ve shown that to us. You’ve given us what we needed… a powerful woman, rather than just another teenage girl. Your talent has been lighting up the screen the entire time you have been here and I hope to see you on the big screen someday. Thank you for all that you’ve done for LG15!
Katherine, my my my.. what a talented woman you are. I have seen you grow so much since you first stepped onto the scene as Emma. You started off quite shy and quiet. Now, look at you… along with your character, you have really grown and stepped up the ladder in your career, and I am very proud of you. You’re in Romania now… shooting a movie for the big screen! That’s a wonderful accomplishment! I will always cherish your days as Emma… and I hope to see you in even greater things someday! Thank you for showing us what talent looks like!
Crystal, you weren’t here very long, but your time as Gina was very memorable. You gave us what we had been missing for a long time… a part of Bree. Your innocence and charm were exactly what we loved about Bree, and you gave that to us. You really became Gina, and it moved me. While watching you, I could feel Gina’s pain, I could see how lost she was. I felt like I could relate to her, somehow. You are and always will be one of my favorites. Thank you for joining the team!

You all are so very talented, and you’ve really given us something wonderful. I can see each and every one of you doing marvelous things in your careers. Thank you for all that you’ve done for us, your fans, and thank you for being our friends through it all. You are an amazing group that I love very much… and I will never ever forget you. ♥

This whole finale thing, every time I read anything about it or watch an episode, I start crying…

  18. Onychea Says:

Thanks for helping me procrastinate for two years! I’d write more, but I have to get things done………..

  19. MCR Says:

I stumbled across Lonelygirl15 while looking up info about the re-aligned solar system, and found Jessica as Bree in “Poor Pluto.” That was it–I was hooked.

Two years later…like Onychea, I’ve been a bit less productive for the last two years because of this amazing, groundbreaking show. You’ve gotta end it–I have work to do!
