Cast, crew, family, community, thanks!
Yesterday, Greg, Miles, and I attended the 12th Annual Webby Awards in New York City, where lonelygirl15 was given the award for People’s Voice Best Drama Series. I had planned on sending pictures and updates to InsideLG15 from the ceremony, but I didn’t get cell service in the auditorium (you’d think of all the places there would be full coverage there.)

The Webbys have a very strict policy when it comes to your acceptance speech: it can only be five words. After about 100 awards were given out I was very thankful for this policy. Many of the five word speeches were humorous or ironic, such as Onion News Network, which won for People’s Voice Best Writing: “together, we’ll make reading obsolete.” Or serious, such as “the internet is a documentary” (NFB Filmmaker in Residence, winner for Best Documentary Series).
I decided to acknowledge the people without whom none of this would be possible: cast, crew, family, community, thanks!
