Today is the Official LG15 Lurkers Day (see comments 409 and 427 on today’s video).
Yes, I’m talking to you. I see you sitting there watching the videos thinking to yourself “Jennie is so a plantcake,” that “Carl looks surprisingly good with his shirt off,” and that this campaign infiltration idea will only lead “nowhere.” Tell everyone how you feel. Make a comment or start a thread on the forum.
You’ve sat for hours reading the transcripts on the lgpedia and asking yourself “How can I help?” Here’s how.

It would help if you fixed the homepage so that it actually worked with a G4 Mac. As it stands it takes minutes to load and we have mentioned that over and over for months.

I have about 7 different browsers, but for LG15 i mostly use Safari.

Yeah, I have a G4 mac and use both Firefox and Safari and the site works fine for me.
Sorry John, I’m a poor soul…can’t afford to upgrade yet. But maybe some fine day!

It might be internet access speed. I don’t know, but I have been talking about this for months and noone from LG15 has listened before.
I have a 1.42 GHz iBook. What are you working with Jenni?
The home page takes several minutes to load. LGPedia works fine so I assume its an YouTube API or Flash issue.

MM, it works fine with my 1.42 GHz G4 iBook and Safari (and Firefox, which I use sometimes). It loads a little bit slow, but it only takes about 15-20 seconds, not several minutes.

What is your internet speed. It maybe a combo of factors but its very slow for me and also freezes up all the time.

I just timed it at 60 seconds and that was without it freezing up. I have not been able to use comments effectively since they messed up the site with the redesign months ago. I would hope with 5 million in the bank they could fix that.

I’ve always been a lurker, but occasionally came out of the shadows to comment when I felt I was needed… maybe not having school will give me more time to come out of the lurker shadows…
