Help Us Fight The Order! (Contest Details)
It looks likes Jonas, Daniel, Jennie, Gina, and maybe even Sarah are finally becoming proactive in fighting The Order. Now it’s your turn.
Here is your mission: create and submit materials for an anti-Order propaganda campaign, which will be used at some point during the series to raise awareness of this evil organization.
There are two options for submission material: a poster design or a 60 second anti-Order video. Each piece of material is open to the artist’s interpretation, but all must feature, somewhere on the creation, the following tagline: “Go to LG15.com to Fight The Order!”
There will be two groups of submissions:
1. Those living in the Southern California Area.
This group of winners will be community members selected from the Southern California area. This group will have the chance to have their work prominently featured on the site at some point and will also be given a date and time in which they may participate in the filming of an upcoming lonelygirl15 video. If you’re a contest winner who lives in the area, you must have a flexible schedule and be prepared to come to be in Los Angeles for filming in the upcoming weeks.
2. Those living outside of the Southern California Area.
This group of winners is open to anyone and everyone around the globe. This group will have the chance to have their work prominently featured on the site at some point and will receive a package of lonelygirl15 gear.
The Grand Prize Winners:
In both groups, a grand prize winner will be selected. The grand prize winner in the Southern California group will be invited to the filming and have a walk-on role in the video. The grand prize winner selected from the out of area group will be sent a short script to be filmed by the winner and their footage will be cut into a lonelygirl15 video.
Submit your entries to amanda@lg15.com. Please send all video entries via a file sharing site such as sendspace.com. All video entries should also be submitted to www.lg15.com/lonelygirl15 as a response video.
Time is running out and the group needs your help. Act fast!
More details to come…

Do the posters have to fulfill any specific criteria? CMYK, minimum DPI, paper format, file format, licenses for fonts, etc.?

Deadline???
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:24 pm
Aw dang! I have an idea (probably too dangerous for a vid; more likely to be better for a poster) but I dunno how to do it!
Anyone wanna go halfsies? If so, e-mail me at VTPPGLVR(at)aol.com (curse you, phishers!)
If you don’t like my first idea, I have a second idea that might be better as a video.
(I wanna go halfsies because this would be my creative property… and I want me some lg15 swag!)

Ew, I’m really mad. School is ending soon and I would have flown there to be on the show if I won, but I don’t even get the chance to. Lame. I seriously would have. I was considering going to Cali this summer anyway ’cause I’ve never been there. I’m really annoyed because I kind of got excited about this.
April 4th, 2008 at 12:46 am
PS: I’ll still do it though because I’m a loser. =)

“which will be used at some point during the series to raise awareness of this evil organization.”
Spoiler that TAAG is possibly going to go out in the open about what’s been going on with the Order, Verdus, Lullaby, etc?
Start their own little LaRezisto movement?
:3 I can dig that!

April 4th, 2008 at 8:35 pm
Wow,
I have an advantage because I’m working on a commercial for the propaganda unit in English.

I REALLY NEED TO KNOW THE DEADLINE.
April 8th, 2008 at 1:55 pm
I’d love to participate in this, but it would be nice to have some more detailed specs on the poster design. Are we talking flyer size for bulletin boards and street campaigns, or are we talking larger media? I’ve got a couple of fabulous ideas but I think it might depend on the size and specs.
April 10th, 2008 at 4:25 pm
i just threw a poster together and sent it haha if they dont like it than o well!!11
April 11th, 2008 at 12:59 am
4cibull…
Amanda said there are only two requirements:
1. No copyrighted material used (accept for LG15 & Katemodern)
2. It had to have the tag line “Go to LG15.com to Fight The Order!” included.
Other than that its limitless -
