Crystal Young (Gina) draws while filming Through My Eyes.

How’d they do that?
Prior to filming, Marcello lightly drew the pictures so that Crystal simply had to trace and color them in while we filmed.

Who is Gina?
Born Yevgeny and also known as Patient #11, Gina is a trait positive girl and older sister to Bree. She was born in Siberian Russia, near Lake Baikal. She and Bree were bought from their mother by Dr. William Porter.

Favorite character: My favorite character would have to be Bree because she had a bright and bubbly personality. Now my favorite is Sarah because her videos lighten the mode of the storyline.

Favorite Video: I like most of the videos but if i had to pick then my most favorite videos are the Grillz feat. Danielbeast, LG15, P. Monkey, and O’n, The Human Ransom, and Poor Pluto.

When I started watching: I remember looking through YouTube and coming across the Grillz video. I found it hilarious so I watched the rest of the videos and haven’t stopped since.

About the shirt: The shirt was made around the time when Bree was questioning Jonas in Interrogation 101. Everyone was so against him and I felt so bad so I decided to make a t-shirt to support him. You can’t see it in that picture but the front has a small LG15 on the front, where a pocket or emblem would normally go. The letters are ironed on and the TKO is in red paint.

I want a Team Jonas t-shirt!

theCoalition (User Generated Content)

The creation of time. The origins of life. The unique DNA building blocks of man. A select group of people are responsible for the achievements of the greatest civilizations on Earth. Government facilities insure these bloodlines live on. Organizations are built to protect their secrets. Adversaries seek to destroy them.

Five simple stones may hold the keys to enlightenment. One has been located. Our mission is a global search for the four remaining stones. Retrieve and deliver them to the school in Savannah - codename: “The Birdhouse”.

For more information, visit theCoalition on the lonelygirl15 forum and read about it on the lgpedia.

When I started watching: I believe the first video I ever saw was Poor Pluto but I think I officially became hooked when Daniel broke into Lucy’s apartment — the ability to climb a wall with a relatively stable camera was just too cool :)

Favorite Video: But there’s SO many! — The Grillz video, Following the Helper, Jonas? (Daniel’s line about P. Monkey is priceless), The Human Ransom, Interrogation 101, Uncle Dan (D&J are hilarious), I Know What Boys Like, Entertaining Myself, Home Invasion, Tired of B*tches, and 4 Girls, 2 Guys, there’s a reason, I’m hooked, right??

Favorite Character: I love them all, but I do have to say my favorite characters are Sarah, Daniel, and Jonas. Jonas can be reckless, but he’s passionate. Daniel can a dork, but he’s loyal and oddly the voice of reason. Sarah’s dark sense of humor adds a wonderful dimension to the group that I hope never gets lost. That said, I’m also a HUGE Daniel/Sarah shipper, and I pray that each new video brings the two closer together!!

About the Art: You could say I was inspired by Gina! I don’t draw often, but nevertheless I enjoy it :)

Tales From a Disposable Camera

Sunday, March 16th, 2008

For the past weeks I have been in a state of limbo. The charger for my digital camera decided to hide from me, and until I could purchase a new one, I’ve been using a disposable camera on set. I can admit that my photos will never be as good as the legendary K-Fed’s (for those of you just joining us, K-Fed is Kevin Schlanser), but at least the digital camera has a zoom function. I finally bought a new charger, so here are some of the final images from my beloved throw away camera.

Filming a video like Friday’s Mexican Mating Machine is always a blast because it means a real party! We set up a BBQ in the backyard, Marcello Daciano got the grill fired up, and the boys threw the football around.

After the BBQ, we got down to business and began filming.

As you may have noticed, the burgers and hot dogs you see when Gina says “nice meat,” are pretty well done. The grill worked so well that all of our supplies were cooked within minutes of filming. By the time we had finished, this is what they looked like.

While he isn’t directing lonelygirl15, Marcello Daciano keeps busy working on other projects. After the success he had directing the AT&T commercial “The Butcher,” Marcello was asked to work on their new 2008 campaign. Last weekend, he spent 3 days in New York City filming on both sound stages and on location - they even blocked off 3 blocks of the city for one crane shot. “It was an amazing experience,” said Marcello. “We all left with this cool feeling of accomplishing something we all aim for.”

Here are some new photos from Marcello’s short film Laura:

Hymn of One

The Hymn of One Boarding School (HOOBS) is kicking off its Spring ‘08 semester, and you are invited to enroll now as a student or join the school as a teacher! Visit HOOBS in its new and expanded home on the forum.

What is HOOBS? HOOBS is a role-playing game in which you get to participate in the LG15 universe! Create a character - either a student or teacher - and interact with other characters in this unique setting where, as the players note, “magic and drama rule.”

How do you play? Visit the HOOBS section of the official forums to learn more about the game. Classes are set up to cover all the important things, like mysticism, arts and crafts, and driver’s ed. In between classes, interact with other characters as you chose. You get to define where the game goes and what happens next. And maybe your character can help participate in a very special ceremony…

For more information, visit HOOBS and look around. Create your character and join in as much as you choose. Feel free to contact Marbella for help getting started.
