Fan Footage of the Live Event

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

LG15 fans came to San Francisco equipped with video cameras, cell phones, and laptops. And some got some great footage of the event.

First, GregGallows posted his video - without an explanation of his role in the event:

JenniPowell - in character from LonelyJew15, sort of - posted her video:

And some of us who watched remotely via Ghiradelli Square’s webcam, some captures via the cam of the event:

Summary of the Live Event at Ghiradelli Square

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

Thanks to everyone who attended the live event in San Francisco. Here’s a recap for those that were unable to make it in person:

At 4:00 pm PST, members of the LG15 community gathered at the fountain in front of Ghiradelli Square and waited to meet Jonas and Daniel. After a few moments, they noticed a familiar face lingering at a nearby store… Lucy! Lucy approached various members of the crowd, showed them a picture of Daniel and Jonas, and asked if anyone had seen them. Everyone said no, and Lucy ripped up the picture and stormed off in disgust.

A couple of minutes later, someone heard ringing coming from a nearby planter. Daniel and Jonas had hidden a cell phone in order to communicate with the group. The phone had a text message on it:

Too dangerous. Location change. Head towards the water and let the phone guide you. Meet us at 2266379.

The community worked together and realized that the numbers spelled “Cannery” when typed on a telephone keypad. The group walked a few blocks to the Cannery and found Jonas and Daniel waiting for them. The guys revealed that they had found a memo in Ted McKinley’s files that looked VERY suspicious, and they thought it might contain a hidden code but had been unable to solve it. During the meeting with Jonas and Daniel, one of the members of the group, Greg Gallows, was surprisingly absent.

Suddenly, someone spotted Lucy approaching the group. Daniel and Jonas quickly told them to split up and meet at Hyde St. Pier, and then they were chased off by Lucy. In their haste, they left behind the memo, but luckily someone in the group grabbed it (let us know in the comments below if this was you!).

Everyone made their way to Hyde St. Pier and Greg Gallows re-joined group… Daniel and Jonas were nowhere to be seen. Once again the cell phone rang and they received another text message:

We outran Lucy, but then saw Greg Gallows talking to her. Greg is a mole!! Make sure he doesn’t have the memo. Keep it and try to figure it out. Time is running out. We’re getting back on the road. Please help!

Greg Gallows

Looks like our good friend Greg Gallows may have some connections to the Order.

Here is a copy of the memo that Daniel and Jonas left behind. It looks like there’s a code hidden in there somewhere. Check out the in-character sections of the forum to talk directly to Daniel and Jonas. Maybe one of them will login when they get to safety and help us solve this puzzle!

Please go to the LGPedia entry for more information about the live event. If you attended in person, help Zoey and the other LGPedia admins by updating the entry to make it as accurate as possible.

Thanks everyone for making the San Francisco live event so successful!

UPDATE: Jenni Powell got the memo from Daniel and Jonas (thanks Aja for this tip).

UPDATE: You can help solve the memo puzzle in the forum.  Good luck!

When she first started watching lg15: One of my good friends and I were hanging out when she started rambling about LG15. After hearing a 10 minute rundown on how the show worked, I watched about 150 videos over a period of three days. I loved them, and have been regularly watching since.

Favorite video: It’s a tie between “The Bree Solution” (aka the cheese and crackers one) and “Shadow of Death.” I loved the Taylor/Spencer interaction, and Shadow of Death was so wonderfully filmed and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Favorite character: Jonas, although Taylor is a close second. Jonas never gives up, even with all the mistakes he’s made and everythings he’s lost, and I love that about him. I just find myself rooting for him everytime something bad happens!

I really love everything you guys have done with the show! Keep up the good work :)

Thank you leleana! This is beautifully done. Submit your artwork to amanda@lg15.com

Hey everyone,

We just wanted to thank you all for the hard work in helping the last couple videos do so great on YouTube!!!  Your commenting and favoriting pushed the video to the YouTube “Most Viewed” front page and it just went crazy from there.  “Girl Tied Up” has over 700,000 views and “Beer Bath” has 73,000 views in one day and is almost on the front page of YouTube’s most viewed for the day.  This could not have happened without the support and effort of this community, it is truly amazing!

 Thank you all so much,

 LG15 Team

When she started watching lonelygirl15: I was actually reading the news on dell.com on August 3rd, 2007 when there was this article that said “LONELYGIRL15 DIES!”. Once I read it I was shocked that a show would kill off it’s main character in the first season so I was curious. Once I got to the site and started watching the first couple of vids I was hooked. I ended up watching all the vids in a row, without sleeping until I finished 12 in 12. I knew Bree was going to die and I was still shocked and cried.

When she started watching KateModern: As soon as I found out about it so it was around the time I Can’t Remember Anything was put up.

Favorite lonelygirl15 video: Really I don’t have one favorite, I have lots favorites. There are so many awesome episodes. If I have to say favorite right now, it would be Human Ransom, All of 12 in 12, and Girl Tied Up. They are so intense. But really I have like 40 favorites at least.

Favorite KateModern video: This was easy, Abstract Heart. This vid blew my mind. It was so freaky and beautiful at the same time. I loved how it showed all the different sides of Kate.

Favorite lonelygirl15 character: Currently, Daniel is my favorite. Daniel is very passionate, so passionate that he doesn’t always think clearly but his hearts in the right place. He also reminds me of my best friend so I think that’s where I’m drawn to him. It also doesn’t hurt that Yousef is easy on the eyes ;) I totally have a fan crush on him.

Favorite KateModern Character: I’m all about Charlie. She is a lot like Daniel in the way she cares for her friends. She also is a strong character.
