A Very Canadian Christmas

It was -20 degrees below freezing and there was so much snow!  I visited the Canadian Parliamant buildings and yes, that’s me standing infront of the “eternal flame” with the Peace Tower in the background.  The best part was eating one of my favorite Canadian delicacies! (most of my favorite things involve eating)  It’s called a Beaver Tail, which could sound totally gross if taken out of context, and it’s basically like a big donut. So um, I guess ‘delicacy’ is a bit of an embellishment.  But anyway…. mine was filled with apples and cinnamon and it was amazing! :)
